ADOPTABLE PUMPING STATIONS
Bespoke Pumping Stations designed to meet adoptable standards.
Bespoke Pumping Stations designed to meet adoptable standards.
At Pump Action we have over 50 years experience providing pumping systems to Water Company specification. Sewers for Adoption has progressed over the years with most Water Companies using the DCG ( Design, Construction Guide) and we have been there for every step.
Unique to Pump Action, we do not subcontract any element of the M&E design, installation, or service element of a pumping station so you can be assured of both a quality product and service when choosing us. You can be rest assured that your project will be handled by Pump Action from the initial enquiry through to the installation and after sales service. We provide the full-service pumping station package.
All the manufacturing is completed in-house in our manufacturing centre, including control systems and major products. This gives us ultimate control of your project and only needs one point of contact.
Our team of trained engineers are fully conversant with the requirements of both Sewers for Adoption and Design Construction Guidance specifications.
All installation work is completed by our own fully trained and experienced teams and we can install both electrical and mechanical equipment. We do not sub-contract out any installation work, so we can guarantee that we will be able to install your pumping station to Pump Action’s highest standards that we are recognised for, ensuring that your system operates to your required specifications and in a fully operational state. Prior to any work commencing on site, method statements and risk assessments are submitted fully satisfying the CDM requirements.
Any commissioning works is achieved by our in-house qualified engineering team. Our engineers will undertake a full check of the installation, ensuring that it is safe and to the required specification. Following a NICEIC test the pumping station is put into operation. Checks are then carried out to verify the pumping station’s operational sequence and its overall functionality. A full installation and commissioning report is provided.
You can rely on Pump Action to give you peace of mind that your pumping station is operating efficiently and effectively while avoiding unexpected and costly breakdowns. We have a skilled in-house team and on-site engineers, so we are able to offer a comprehensive and cost-effective after-sales service, with service agreements for your pumping system.
Unexpected failures of pumping stations can be minimised with Pump Action service’s comprehensive support.
When unexpected failures occur, our service department has the internal resources for any emergency pump repairs and reactive maintenance, through our emergency breakdown service. Whether you have an unexpected breakdown, a broken pump, or a faulty pumping station – our service teams will be on hand to help.
Pump Actionervice provides 24/7, 365 days a year monitoring with the Seer monitoring unit, consisting of three models to suit your application. The Seer units use an advanced cloud-based monitoring system allowing the user and our in-house pump engineers to continually analyse and monitor the plant to ensure smooth continual running.
Surge analysis is a requirement under both Sewers for Adoption and DCG for rising main lengths that exceed 500 metres. The results of this can alter the design of the pumping station, or key protective measures within the design as a direct result of surge, so it is vital that early analysis takes place.
To be sure that your pumping station will perform efficiently and the rising main is protected, contact us to undertake the necessary surge analysis.
