Pump Action transformed a newly drilled private well into a fully operational clean water supply, delivering a complete pump installation from initial assessment through to commissioning.

Origin:

The client approached Pump Action after having a private well drilled by another contractor. With the well completed, the next stage was to install the necessary pumping equipment to bring the water supply into operation. The client was referred to us by one of our existing customers, who had recommended Pump Action based on their previous experience with our services.

Approach:

We arranged a site visit to assess the well and understand the requirements of the proposed water supply. Our Engineering Supervisor, Ross Carbry, met with the client to discuss the project and explain the equipment required, the installation process and how the completed system would operate. Following the site visit, we prepared a detailed quotation covering all aspects of the works. This included a clear description of the proposed installation, the equipment required and a day-by-day breakdown of how the works would be carried out. This gave the client a clear understanding of what to expect throughout the installation.

Outcome:

The installation was completed successfully, transforming the newly drilled well from an unused hole in the ground into a fully functioning private water supply. The required pumping equipment was installed and commissioned, allowing the client to draw clean water from the well and use the supply as intended.
