Equal Opportunities
Pump Action is an equal opportunities employer. We are committed to recruiting fairly and welcome applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. We will make reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process for candidates with disabilities on request.
Fair Recruitment
Pump Action recruits on merit, using clear job descriptions and person specifications based only on the skills, experience and qualifications required for the role. Vacancies are advertised internally and through our social media channels, company website and relevant recruitment platforms. Shortlisting and interviews are based on the same criteria for every candidate, and recruitment decisions are recorded. Equality monitoring information is kept separately from applications and is not used when making recruitment decisions.
Agency Submissions
Pump Action works directly with candidates wherever possible and does not accept unsolicited candidate submissions from recruitment agencies, head-hunters or search firms. We only consider candidates submitted by an agency where we have specifically instructed the agency to assist with a named vacancy and an agreed arrangement is in place. Any candidate details sent to us without prior authorisation will be treated as a direct application, and no recruitment fee will be payable if the candidate is subsequently employed by Pump Action. Recruitment agencies should not contact Pump Action employees directly regarding speculative candidate submissions. Any authorised agency enquiries should be directed to the appropriate contact within our team.
