Overview:

We’re looking for an organised and proactive individual to manage goods handling, stock control, and warehouse operations at our branch. You’ll receive and check deliveries, handle receipting through our system, and work with our sales and service teams to pick and pack orders. The role also covers preparing job packs for engineering works, running regular stock checks, liaising with local suppliers, and occasionally delivering or collecting goods yourself.

Duties & Responsibilities

Receiving all deliveries into the branch
Checking the condition of goods on receipt
Receipting supplier delivery notes on the Simpro system
Advising the person who raised the order once goods have been received and receipted into stock
Working with the sales team to pick and pack orders for customer collection or delivery
Delivering goods to customers when required
Scanning customer delivery notes into the Simpro system
Working with the service team to pick and pack parts required for upcoming site works
Collecting goods from local suppliers when required
Placing orders with suppliers for stock items when required
Organising the internal store and notifying the sales or service team when parts are taken for jobs
Preparing job packs of materials for individual jobs, advising the engineering manager of completion or any issues preventing completion
Carrying out regular stock checks
